Ming-Chen Chuang is a Speech Language Pathologist at the Santa Clara County of Education, where she provides services to students with neuroatypical development in areas of speech, language, and communication. She received her Bachelor’s degree from National Chengchi University, Taiwan, and her Master’s degrees in linguistics and Speech and Language Services from UNC Chapel Hill. First introduced to FCSN through one of her student’s parents, Chuang has since given several talks at FCSN about effective communication skills for special needs families. Levin County Park in the eastern foothills of Milpitas, California. This tranquil spot is surrounded by lush greenery. On April 12 from 4:00 to 6:30 P.M., Friends of Children with Special Needs (FCSN) hosted its 11th annual Special Needs Talent Showcase (SNTS) at the Santa Clara Convention Center, a day ripe with unique performances from passionate individuals. Ten finalists competed and seven honorable mentions also presented their talents, all of whom were selected from the preliminary auditions held on January 26.
