On Sept. 3rd, Saturday, Roxana Chiu organized a bus trip for FCSN families. Originally, the destination of the trip was Walnut Creek; however, with temperature hovering over 100 degrees inland, Roxana decided at the last minute to change it to San Francisco. The trip was fully booked with about 50 people, we made a first stop at Coyote Point Recreational Area where we hiked for an hour. Then we stopped at SF Civic Hall, and walked uphill along Hayes St. towards Alamo Square – and the temperature in SF was just right. Along the way, we took time to browse and finding restaurants for lunch. Finally, we visited Yerba Buena Center before heading back. Overall, it was a wonderful day to escape the inland heat and to spend a day in SF.
