Dear FCSN Volunteers,
We are proud to announce that we are recruiting Youth Reporters and Graphic Artists for the 2022-23 term! FCSN Voices is FCSN’s official online newsletter that seeks to inform the community on issues important to the special needs community, whether it be employment, nutrition, discrimination, or misconceptions about special needs. Our application is very brief and simple to complete.
Last year, our team published more than 100 articles, providing the community with information about FCSN events and programs, personal accounts of volunteer initiatives, and inspirational stories about special needs individuals. Our newsletter has rapidly expanded this past year and garnered more than 30,000 views with nearly 10,000 unique visitors. We are searching for talented youth volunteers to join our cause as we enter another year of FCSN Voices.
As an FCSN Voices Youth Reporter, you will have the opportunity to conduct interviews, cover FCSN events, and spotlight FCSN programs, volunteers, and our special needs community. You will receive training, support, and guidance from FCSN Voices when you become a reporter.

- Within the application, you will be asked to submit a writing sample. Your sample can be previous English essays, blog articles, personal statements, etc.

Graphic designers will create graphics for FCSN Voices’ campaigns, article cover photos, newsletters, and more.
