I like to play badminton. This week I had my first lesson. During the lesson I learned how to hit the birdie using my forehand and backhand. I felt very excited to be on the court. After the first lessons, the coach taught me how to move on the court. I learned the movement in the front part of the court. In the future I will join the group lessons with other players. I look forward to it.

In the past two weeks I watched the Wimbledon tournament. It is one of the four Grand Slam tournaments. It is in London, England. I watched men’s singles. My favorite players are Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. They will play with each other in the final this year. Wimbledon is special because the players wear white clothes and they play on the green grass.

In 2021, I went to New York to watch the US Open. My cousin was playing in a junior tennis tournament. I cheered for her with the spectators.
