I went to the Santa Clara Convention Center on April 11. I watched a talent show for special needs.

Before the talent show I helped set up a booth for laser engraving. We engraved the name on keychains. I worked with a youth volunteer, Kewei. She designed the name on the computer. Then I helped operate the machine to engrave the name.

After one hour, we made around 15 keychains. Through working at the booth, I learned how to make products, sell to customers and collect money.

The most challenging part for me was making products. This was my first time making products on site. I felt very nervous. I need more practice. Next time I will become more confident.
As my reward. Mrs. Meng gave me $25. I will spend $25 for my sister’s birthday. I will buy cards, balloons, flowers, cakes and candles.

After working at the booth, I watched the talent show. There was dancing, playing instruments, andΒ vocals.

My favorite performance is instruments.

Overall I had a good weekend. I learned a lot about real time working and enjoyed a wonderful performance.
