On Saturday morning I had summer courses with Maisie.

We had healthy food for lunch, made lemonade, and mugs.

06.21.26 🐉🥯🫐

On Sunday it was the Dragon Boat Festival and Father’s Day.

I gave Dad a hug and said “Happy Father’s Day.”

I made breakfast for Father’s Day.

I put flax seeds and fruits on the oatmeal and bagel for my Dad.

Dad and I hiked at Coyote Lake Harvey Bear Ranch County Park.

We walked 2 miles.

It was windy and warm.

I saw a butterfly and took pictures of the butterfly.

After hiking we had brunch at San Martin Cafe.

I was excited to celebrate Father’s Day.

06.23.26 ✈️🐶

(Context: On Tuesday Mom came back home from China after she visited grandparents for 35 days (35 / 7 = 5 weeks))

Dad picked her up from San Francisco airport while my dog Bailey and I stayed home.

Her flight was 12 hours long.

I felt excited and gave her a hug when she came back home.

I missed her, because there was so much more work when she was away. 

Dad had to take care of many things and I had to help with many things such as feeding pets, gardening, and other chores. 

06.27.26 🍋🖼️⏲️

(Context: I had five sessions of summer camp called Growing Into Myself Career Exploration Workshop that Maisie was leading. There were five students in the workshop.)

Saturday was our last session for Summer Camp. 

We had to sell lemonade for the workshop.

My friends and I made and sold lemonade in Chole’s neighborhood in Campbell.

Maisie, Chole’s neighbors, Mom, and other parents came to buy lemonade.

I earned $16.00.

At summer camp I made a background and my name on the mugs.

I was happy because I enjoyed making all the things at the summer camp.

(Context: We didn’t celebrate Father’s Day on Father’s Day weekend because Mom was traveling.)

In the evening Megan and Josh came to our house to celebrate Father’s Day instead.

They brought zucchini, onions, corn, octopus squid, and beef steak to make a special dinner for Dad.

I made a Father’s Day card, did house chores, and made breakfast for Dad on Father’s Day weekend.

We first fed the cats in the barn.

Then I made blueberry cake for dessert and fruit salad for an appetizer.

Then, I chopped the zucchini and onions for grilling.

Megan and Josh grilled beef steak and it was big and thick and it took a long time to grill.

I had fun having a barbecue. Dad was happy because Megan, Josh, and I made a special dinner for Dad.
