On Day 1…

I had a city walk in Montreal. I saw tall buildings.

I went to the trade center and visited my parents’ university, McGill, and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

In downtown it is really modern. There are many bars, coffee shops, museums and an underground city.

In the evening I saw beautiful city lights.

On Day 2…

I went to the famous church Saint Joseph’s Oratory of Mount Royal. The church is so big and its shape looks like an oval.

Inside the church I saw candles and lights. We can pray there.

The second church is Notre-Dame Basilica Montreal. The church has 3 special features. First, the ceiling is blue with golden stars.

Second, the windows are made of colorful stained glass and tell different stories.

Third, there are complex carvings on the wall and pillars.

Finally I watched a light show in this church.

I also visited old Montreal and old port of Montreal. The streets of old Montreal are made of stones. The buildings are of European style.

That day I felt very happy because I took lots of pictures.

On Day 3…

I went to Quebec City. First I stopped at Montmorency Falls. The waterfalls were very tall.

I stood in front of Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. It looked like a big castle.

In Dufferin Terrace I saw St. Lawrence River. I felt very excited.

I took the small gondola to lower Quebec City.

I saw colorful buildings, stone streets and some people played instruments.

Finally we took the boat on St. Lawrence River. I stood in front of the Canadian flag.

The people of Quebec City spoke French. I had a special experience!

On Day 4…

I took the metro and REM from my uncle’s house to my auntie’s house.

I tasted Montreal traditional foods: smoked meats. I really enjoyed it.

At my auntie’s house I saw a dog and a cat. I like cats better.

I had a wonderful trip. I am looking forward to visiting again in the future.
