On July 4th 2017, on a bright sunny morning, FCSN participated in the Fourth of July celebration and parade in Fremont. Over 50 FCSN families/friends showed up and joined teams organized by CBC (Citizen for Better Community). We gathered around 9:30 AM in front of the Fremont Main Library, and the parade got started around 10:30 AM. We marched along Paseo Padre Blvd. heading north towards Mowry Ave.. Along the way, Linmei led the team with a dance routine while following the music from a loud speaker. As we walked and danced, our team was warmly received with cheers and applause from the crowds. The march ended half an hour later at Walnut Street. Afterwards, we all enjoyed ice creams for a hard day’s work.
