Do you know that the majority of people with disability are unemployed? As a matter of fact, in 2017, only 18.7% of persons with disability were employed according to US Bureau of Labor Statistics.
To combat this situation, FCSN opened a coffee shop “Friends Coffee & Tea” in April 2018. Furthermore, recently, FCSN has created a training program in our coffee shop to provide hands on training for clients in our Adult Day Program – hopefully, this is a step to help them finding employment in the future. This program was last reported in Mercury News on 7/13/2018.
