At the 2024 SNTS contest, I performed my original song, “I AIN’T BACKING DOWN.” I wasn’t sure if I
would win, but I set a goal to earn the People’s Choice Award because, to me, there’s something deeply
validating about getting the audience’s support and belief in you. I felt this was my best chance to kick-
start my career.

I always loved music, especially Hip Hop. While some people see it as a negative genre, I see it as music
that provides others with confidence and encourages them to be determined and not give up. I started
making instrumentals in 2010, and in 2022, I became serious and started writing my own originals, one
of which is called “I AIN’T BACKING DOWN”. I wrote it to inspire people, especially those with special
needs, to not give up on their dreams regardless of what others say.
When the drumroll moment came for the SNTS winner announcement, I couldn’t believe my ears! Not
only did I win one award, but THREE: People’s Choice, one of the FINAL TOP 3 winners, and Best
showmanship. I was SHOCKED, and even to this day. This SNTS competition has transformed me,
boosting my confidence and helping me trust my decisions. I don’t think I would have pursued this
career path without the support I received, from my time at FCSN to following my passion and returning
stronger than ever!

In many ways, I wanted to show FCSN how much I’ve grown and prove that the path I’ve chosen is the
right one for me. Currently, I’m working on an album and plan to keep pushing forward to inspire
everyone—young, old, abled, or disabled—to follow their dreams and “I AIN’T BACKING DOWN,” just
like my performance!
