`07.03.26` 🦭🌊🍽️

On Friday morning July 3rd Mom, Dad, and I took a walk at Moss Landing.

We had been to Moss Landing when Mom visited her grandparents in China.

There was a painting of an octopus and it looked nice.

There were many pink flowers and a seal at the beach.

We bought fish and ordered fish tacos at the Fish market.
I liked taking a walk at the beach and getting fish tacos.

In the evening we had a party at Dad’s coworker Greg’s property.

Mom brought finger food, yams with cream cheese, sauteed kale, and roasted almonds.

There were salami roses and it looked beautiful.

I enjoyed having a party because I like to prepare food.

`07.04.26` 🚘🍴🎆

On Saturday I attended the 4th of July parade with my FCSN friends.

The old fancy (antique) cars were decorated with American flags.

The FCSN Dream Achiever band played the guitar, piano, and saxophone to play the song “Celebration”.

We waved the flags following Lingmei’s lead.

I wore my American flag hat that I had since my childhood.

I was excited because I like to wave the flags and there were so many people marching and watching the parade.

In the evening we had a party at my school friend Jack’s house in Cupertino.

Before dinner I had a conversation with Jack and the guests got food first.

Mom brought finger food, yams with cream cheese, lettuce, and almonds.

I made a hamburger with cheese, beef, tomato, lettuce, and onion.

After dinner we watched the fireworks.

I listened to the music with headphones because the fireworks were too loud.

Then, I took a video and pictures of the fireworks.

The fireworks were over after ½ an hour.

I enjoyed having a party with my friends and watching the fireworks with my ears covered.

`07.05.26` 🎷🎻🍩

(Context: On Sunday we took the Caltrain from Sunnyvale to San Francisco to watch the Fillmore Jazz Festival.)

It reminds me, we watched the Golden State Warriors in Chase Center in January 2022.

We had packed lunch while watching the Jazz Performance.

Wang Hong, Mom, Gary, Iris, and I danced together to the music.

I gave a high five to a performer in the yellow suit, who is part of The Legendary Seastrunk Brothers band.

On the 3rd stage, the women were playing the piano, saxophone, and cello.

There were five total stages performing music.

We went to Japantown Center, and had mochi donuts.

Then, we went to Union Square and took a group picture in front of one of the four heart sculptures. Our family used to take a lot of photos there.

I had a lot of fun going to the Jazz Festival with my friends.

My favorite activities were having the dancing parade, having parties, watching the fireworks, and watching the Fillmore Jazz Festival with my friends. I had a very busy yet very fun Independence Day weekend.
