Last Saturday, the neighbors came to the party at our house.
Dad and I helped set up the table for the neighbors to come.
We made finger food for the World Cup party.
Dad barbecued chicken, zucchini, mushrooms, shrimp, and beef.
One of the neighbors, Jessica, brought cucumber salad and the other couple neighbors brought drinks.
We watched the World Cup during the barbecue party.
Norway played against England.
I cheered for England and Mom cheered for Norway.
England won the game so I was happy.
We had red bean cake as a dessert.
After lunch I helped clean up.
We all had fun watching the World Cup together.

On Sunday I had my art class with Daphne while Mom and Dad went to my cousin Hana’s Baby Shower.
We forgot to bring the leash with us and the rice cake for Megan.
I made a polymer sculpture of Eric with eyeglasses for the FCSN Art Exhibition and this will be my second piece of artwork for the Art Exhibition.

Then, I heated up my lunch in the microwave while I was calling Mom on the phone and waiting for them.
My favorite activity was watching the World Cup with neighbors.

On Saturday, Mom, Dad, and I visited a small town San Juan Bautista that is about a 30 minutes drive from Gilroy.
We wanted to see Mission San Juan Bautista church, one of the 21 California Mission Churches.
We saw old buildings with American flags.
A wedding girl was getting married at the church.
There are bells in the church that look like the bells on El Camino Real Road.
Other California mission churches are in San Rafael, Solano, San Luis Rey, Santa Ines, San Miguel, San Fernando, San Jose, Santa Clara, San Buenaventura, Santa Cruz, Soleda, Mission Dolores, San Juan Capistrano, San Gabriel, San Luis Obispo, San Carlos, San Antonio, and San Diego; we have been to many of them.
We went to the garden behind Jardines de San Juan restaurant.
The flowers and cactus look beautiful.
We had lunch at Jardines de San Juan restaurant.
I ordered Enchiladas and shrimp taco.
The triangle was quesadilla and circular was flautas.
Mom ordered quesadilla and flautas and shared them with Dad.
The garden was beautiful and the stores have potteries.
I was happy because I like to see places in stores.

On Saturday morning I wanted to go hiking or biking at Coyote Lake Harvey Bear Ranch Park.
But I also wanted to read a book about Gardening and I stayed home while Mom and Dad took a hike with our dog Bailey.
I hung up the laundry clothes outside and cleaned the swimming pool.
I felt happy because I like doing hard work and it feels relaxing doing chores.
In the evening I made dinner for my family.
I boiled the water and cooked spaghetti.
I marinated the meatballs and cooked the meatballs.
I chopped the tomatoes, chopped garlic, and chopped onions.
I sauteed the vegetables and mixed the spaghetti.
Then, I poured the tomato sauce on the spaghetti.
I grated some cheese, black pepper, and salt on the spaghetti.
I cut some fresh basil leaves from our garden and put them on top of the spaghetti.
The spaghetti looked nice and everyone liked them so much.
I was proud because cooking was hard but I cooked dinner by myself and everyone liked it.
