President’s Message

Dear FCSN Families and Friends,

I wish you all enjoyed the yearend holiday break and ready to embrace the upcoming new year!
Time flies and FCSN has gone through another challenging but fruitful year 2024. Our latest and
largest Osgood center in Fremont, which is also FCSN headquarter, has officially opened in
August. We held an Osgood grand opening event by inviting many families, friends and local
community leaders to share our excitement, we also showcased many artworks created by our
clients during the grand opening day to make it an even more meaningful event.

FCSN President

FCSNโ€™s mission is to serve our special needs individuals and families; while continuing
expanding our staff team and facilities to support more clients the demand for quality programs
is also growing and it has been on FCSN leadership teamโ€™s top priority. With the opening of new
Osgood center, we are in process to launch a new day program for adults with special needs,
expand the after-school services for school-aged children, establish social recreation programs,
enhance our employment support services, among other key initiatives. In addition, FCSN
strongly believes that no one should be left behind, as we took the hard path to establish day
program and support living services for high-need individuals.

FCSN started with ten families in 1996 and today we have grown to an well known non-profit
organization with more than 1000 families members serving 200 plus children and 300 plus adult
clients, our goal is not only serving more special needs individuals but also ensuring the quality
of services. In last year newsletter we have shared with you that FCSN leadership team defined a
5-year growth plan to address various challenges regarding staffing, high needs services,
consumer coverage, and healthy finance. Despite some headwind but we are grateful to share
with you that FCSN is still on track to meet our goals.

As much as we try to prepare for this growth, unfortunately we are still extremely short of staff.
Over the past few years we have increased our salary and benefits a substantial amount, we need
all sorts of talents to support our beloved special needs and we believe FCSN is the right place
for you to dedicate your expertise and passion. If you or anyone you know is interested, please
visit https://fcsn1996.org/employment/ for open positions, and send your resume to
jobs@fcsn1996.org.

Finally, I wish you all a wonderful and prosperous 2025, stay healthy and strong!
