Day 4

In the morning we had a coffee tour in Greenwell Farms.

Then I went to Pu’uhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park.

I saw a refugee temple. I saw ancient crafts.

We also went to the beach. The sand is black and really hard.

I also got yummy donuts.

I saw a beautiful sunset when I went back to the resort.

Day 5

My friends and I played in the swimming pool at the resort.

After lunch we went to Mauna Kea Summit. First we drove to the visitor center. Second, we hiked to the middle of the mountain.

I saw a blue sky, white clouds, and a brown mountain.

The clouds changed colors from white to pink, light blue, then orange because the sun set.

At night I saw a few stars. I felt very excited because everything was so beautiful.

This is my first time to feel the magnificent landscape. This is a wonderful day!

Day 6

I rode the train in the resort. I saw beautiful flowers and the ocean.

Afterwards  I went to PuΚ»ukoholā Heiau National Historical Site. I learned that Kamehameha was the first king of Hawaii.

I tried to lift the heavy stone but I failed.

We bought pokΓ© in the grocery store.

We picnicked near Hāpuna Beach. The sand is white and soft. I played in the big waves with my friends Collin and Douglas.

In the evening we took an airplane back to SFO.

I had lots of fun on this trip with my friends. I hope I can go back to Hawaii in the future.
